Morning Stroll with Baby for Novena Area Mommies

Post by serenitynow » Fri, 07 Aug 2009 3:56 pm

I've been trying to get back in shape and catch some morning air by taking my baby out for a brisk stroll during the weekdays. I normally start at 8:15-8:30 for about 30 minutes. I was wondering if any Mommies interested in joining? Meeting place: in front of Novena Square. PM me or leave a message here.

Hi. We'll be moving to the Novena area soon, and that sounds like something I'd be keen to try to commit to. Won't be ready to go until a couple of weeks time though... How are the footpaths in the area? I will be pushing 2 kids, so I strongly dislike dodgey footpaths.

Hi joyjoy88. Novena's footpaths are city sidewalks. It's not like the Gardens where there are wide paths and lots of greenery or like the Eastcoast where there's a view. But, you do get to beat the mosquitos and there's a Starbucks, Spinelli or Coffee Bean right around the corner if you need to take a morning coffee break. The main roads should be a sufficient walk and definitely not dodgey.
