Medical treatment

Post by txbrown » Mon, 03 Aug 2009 5:26 pm

Is medical treatment expensive in Singapore? I arrived this week to start work here for about a year. My family will be coming over in a couple of weeks. My company purchased insurance for me but they would not cover my family. I have insurance on them back in the states, and I can be reimbursed for ER/hospitalization visits here. My insurance will not cover clinic visits. I guess my question is, are medical clinics here very expensive?

Medical expenses can be quite high and suggest you take insurance for your family. Probably not as bad as USA though.
