I know several. But they are in America. Unfortunately, this is Singapore and not New York or Houston.

There is a male American dentist in the Smile dental clinic in Camden medical center, quite pricey though

Hi, I have been to David Bell a few times in last year he is in/owns (?), International Dental, Camden medical clinic.
He is from New Zealand and is great, though pricey. Large % of his costs not covered by insurance if you have it. Might be the same guy smurph is refering to.
Nice receptionist too, making appointments was real easy.
Good luck

I thought NZ was one of Australia's states, not the US's.

I've been going to Dr. Bell (previous mention) since we moved here. He is fantastic and couldn't recommend him highly enough. He used to be with Smile Focus - then opened his own practice last year also in Camden Medical Center (2nd Floor).

Thanks everyone for all of your help!
I went to see Dr. Shaun Thompson after a recommendation from a friend. He's a fantastic American dentist (never thought I'd say that about a dentist) with T32 Dental Centre (6733.1388) on the top floor of Camden. Best dental experience I've ever had!!
For the first time ever I wasn't rushed through my appointment, I was served coffee/refreshments on arrival & watched a movie (w/ a blanket) during my treatment. He was gentle and did great work. Definitely recommend him.
Hope this helps someone

We went w/ Dr. Thompson thanks to this forum. I usually hate dentists but he put me at ease and I actually enjoyed chatting with him. He's a cool guy that's great at what he does. Even my kids loved him (now they play 'dentist' at home). Highly recommended.....

All I can say is, THANK YOU DR. THOMPSON.... the best (maybe only?) American Dentist in Singapore!!!
I had a lot of really terrible dental work done. I was trying to save money by going to a local clinic. Don't do that. Complete nightmare. Lukily, I googled 'American Dentist Singapore',found this thread then immediately made an appointment w/ Dr. Thompson. I was a nervous wreck at first but he soon had me laughing & feeling completely comfortably & confident that he could get me back on track. He did and made it look easy and fun w/ no dental office awkwardness ! He even waived the fees for the redo of several ugly restorations that I just recently had placed.
Thanks for the posts. You saved me.
**When you go see Dr. Thompson. Choose the movie goggles instead of the ipod. Just sit back & watch a movie while he takes care of your grill

I actually found another American dentist in the area, Dr. Jessica Chee and she was really good! I work in town and was trying to find someone around the marina bay area. Anyway, the office is Shenton dental group located in mbfc. Oh and she's from USC! go trojans

Anyway, i would def recommend her to anyone- she was so pleasant and made my visit very comfortable.

A quick heads up, the American dentist that most everyone I know sees, Dr. Shaun Thompson, recently launched Expat Dental. It took me a while to find him cause the old posts lead you to his old practice. Can't say I'm surprised at what he pulled off but he sure did nail it.... American Dentists, New Zealand Dentists, Australian dentists and a proper American Hygienist doing real hygienist cleanings just like hom. All the staff are expat, unbelievably friend and love to chit chat, know everyone and provide some of the best service in Singapore. It's even cheaper than his old place all of the other good dental joints, has a garden and I saw a putting mat in his office (a dentist who dose not golf I can not trust). I got the run around from his old place but it took Google less than 1 second to find him. Thought I'd save my fellow people some time and list his new locations and contact details below. Enjoy.....
