Langkawi anyone?

Post by Ig11 » Sat, 01 Aug 2009 12:06 pm

Hi, been in Singapore for nearly 2 months, decided its time to start veturing out. First off to begin with thought of a weekend to Kangkawi. Don't have much annual leave so was thinking of a 2 day tri to begin. Was thinking about booking flights for the end of this month which at the moment are aroun$166. Not looked at accommodation yet. Any takers? A bit about me...f/30 from London, UK.

Short Trip

Post by nova74 » Tue, 04 Aug 2009 6:03 pm

Hi Ladies

I just came back for a 1 day trip to Malacca, not bad too. One day trip back and forth, in coach, included 2 meals cost about $80 + small tipping for the local guide and driver. Set off 5.45am and back in Singapore about 10+pm.
I was told 2D 1N cost about $150+

If you have some time to spare, not in a rush, traveling to our neighbouring country - Malaysia, by coach to enjoy the scenary along the way is an eye opening sight too.

You, gals can consider next time.:)

I am rather interested in this as well :)

shall we start pulling out some dates?
the week ends towards the end of the month would be:
22-23 august
29-30 august

I am still not sure about my schedule for those week end... but if we/you choose a good date I'll keep it free :)

Hi there,

I actually booked ticket to Langkawi leaving on August 29 Saturday, returning on August 31 Monday. It'd be great if any of you could join!

I booked Air Asia for only S$75. Check it out www.airasia.com. Hope they still have the deal!
