Parents with kids age 2-12 yrs old.

As a working mother myself n my mom as my kids nanny (the person I trust most), I find it tough for me to go shopping, enjoy some peace n quiet time on my own or spend time with my hubby without my kids. My mom has made her rules clear enough before she took up the nanny post that she WON'T be available on my NON-working days. Therefore, everywhere I go, my kids follow. Being a mom for 9 yrs, I've never managed to be on my own (except working) or with hubby .
I always wonder if there's anyone who share the same experience as me.

There might be a place where they do care for kids at short hours (1 - 2 hrs) but wonder if the provide food n refreshments n are they reliable?

Would they care for my kids like mothers would for their kids even for those short hours?

Is the location within reach (to my convenience)?

Is the fee going to be reasonable?
