Experience of any cluster housing?

Post by queenie71 » Wed, 29 Jul 2009 9:53 am

Am interested in The Teneriffe, Glentress and Gilstead Brooks. Moving over December. Anyone have experience of living in these? Good value for money or better off in condo???

Dalla Vale am assuming is just too far out.
Love Florida Park but figure that its location is not so great and there's no pool.

Any other good clusters that anyone can recommend? Anything good in East Coast?

Looking for 4 beds+study +good storage which is why the townhouses seem to work (hide stuff in basement room...). Also want a nice terrace for outdoor living.

Coming over end November to look to sign place for end December/beg Jan.

Look forward to any advice

THANKS

Don't bother with Gilstead Brooks - there is a construction site directly across the street. Also, most of the owners won't entertain anyone with small children. If you are interested in that area check out Chancery Residences - they are really nice cluster houses - large - lots of room - though the maid's room is appalling.

You will need a car if you are in Teneriffe. If you are considering Teneriffe - also look at Binjai Crest - same sort of layout. Though both are quite tall and narrow - so you'll definitely work those glutes walking up and down the stairs!

Also check out Villa Del Rose - they are big cluster houses - tons of children, nice patio. Or Sommerville Park. Both are older developments - but they are big and very popular with expats.

Try looking at Summer Gardens in East Coast. 5 mins to MRT, lots of families and lots of space inside.
