Do i have to do NS?

Post by Pdlock » Thu, 23 Jul 2009 11:29 pm

Hi

My father and step mother moved to SG 6 months ago and i am thinking of moving here to live with them. They do not yet have PR status, but hopefully will have that soon. I am 20 years of age and wanted to know in the event that they do get PR status and i move here will i be required to do NS? Or if i waited for a while and attempted to move her at the age of 21, would i still be required to do NS?

Thanks very much. :D

You would only be required to do NS if you take up PR as well. As long as you aren't a PR, not a problem.

You can only get a PEP if you qualify with the provable income history.....
