AirAsia Pilots interview

Post by Flygirl » Fri, 17 Jul 2009 9:06 pm

I've recently just went for my AirAsia Pilots interview and i passed it, pretty sure i did quite good in it, hence i got called up for second interview, i called in to confirm my attendance and they heard me on the phone and said, word for word, quote:clearly there's been a mistake because we're not taking in female pilots at the moment, so sorry but dont bother coming to the second interview anymore." is it me or does this sound ridiculous, they saw me during the first interview and still let me continued with it...I am now thinking of ways to appeal, any advises/criticisms/comments please feel free to drop me a msg here. much appreciated.

Since they are too damned silly to know who did and didn't pass their own interviews I wouldn't worry about them and try somewhere else. Although I realize the sexist nature of a good many Asian airlines makes this difficult.

Ps: From the little I have gleaned from this board it would seem writing appeals to airlines if not the majority of employers in Singapore is simply a waste of time.
