my goodness. the germans sure do know their engineering.

if I remember correctly, there's also a 100 SGD deposit for the bikes.

what? no inline skates? if you really want cycling to be more interesting, we could head to pulau ubin. :D:D:D

i suggest that we do a non-overnight thing unless we can work out the details at least by tomorrow.

Unless it is well-thought out, the more elaborate the plan, the harder to accommodate as many people as possible.

another suggestion, probably for next time..

If wanna do overnite, we can do bbq, rent a bbq pit.. get drunk, camp, and stay until the next day!!

Anyway, there are lots of skate rental in east coast.. Cost around 6-8 dollar for 2 hours..

For pulau ubin, I think nobody really skate there.. It's lots of up n down hill.. Way too tiring for normal lazy girl like me :p

So, if wanna try skating, it's better in east coast..

so I guess it's ECP? I get enough biking already over here where everything is uphill. :D

And we need to decide on a day.

(Is this what happens when you're thirtyish? Doing stuff like this?)

@mauvecloud, if it's any consolation, I also wear glasses (but never contacts). But only at work :D

im ok friday or saturday.

@nakatag0: what 30ish stuffs? (it's no consolation! at least you ain't blind without 'em, and i bet no one would dare call you a nerd/geek to your face. hehehe)

@yenny.y: i'm no purist, i like my drinks watered and sugared, so that's prolly why i never get drunk enough to forget that i still have little pieces of plastic in my eyes.

ERIK the BIKING

Post by nakatago » Tue, 24 Nov 2009 2:59 pm

It looks like people want this to happen and it will be on East Coast Park. The question now is, when do people want this?

* Friday
* Saturday

and

* mid morning
* mid afternoon

I haven't gotten the trend for the weather right now (re: I have no effin' idea what time it will rain on either of those days) so we may want to factor that in too. Once we've decided, let's give this outing a new thread in "Events and Gatherings"
