Unfortunately I will have to use my ninja vanish skills soon and go into seclusion for intense ninja training. This next outing may be my last for a long while before I resurface again. I am relying on Nakatago and Mauvecloud to keep this group going while I'm away training with Mr. Miyagi.

Since steve will be gone for a long time, do you guys want to make the next outing different--as in daytime different? It's been raining a lot lately though. Indoor daytime activities are options, I guess.

If we're going with Resource Consumer's suggestion, we could get a big open space, do something--play some game or dance--and then head out somewhere for some chow. I really don't know.

Or we could just revert to dinner + get someone wasted, followed by cop cars on the way out to Mickey-D's. Let's give Steve a nice send-off before the Iga clan whoops his ah gua-attracting a$$.

and like the decepticon, i've always wanted to do this one.

thoughts, anyone?

ETA: I just realized we need to factor in the raininess. Unless you like walking in the rain (actually i do)

I should be around still until the first weekend in December. Then it's off to the U.S. for the next four months for work. I'll miss you guys! :(

Fumei, this is easier and waaay shorter than the Yokohama to Sakuragicho up to the International Pier then leading to Chinatown walk. During winter.

I do like the bridge. Better prep my camera gear. And my big-a$$ umbrella.

So wait. You're still here on the long weekend of 27 Nov?

Did someone say "road trip"?

So is the plan to go to Henderson Rd Walk on Saturday? You can take bus 145 directly there from Red Hill MRT.

Already have plans for the long weekend so I'll have to pass on the road trip. I'm up for any weekend traveling but it'll have to wait until I get back in April.

Proposal:
Henderson Waves Walk
21 Nov

I'm thinking we could do it in the afternoon so that when dusk falls and lights go up, it'll be great for photography--even if it rains.

Then head off somewhere for to eat.

The idea is pretty raw right now so more suggestions are very much welcome.

@fumei: yeah, but that was a long time ago. I remember eating french fries by the harbor. We had to remove our gloves so we can eat the fries and three minutes later, we couldn't feel our fingers.

nakatago (or anyone else),

If you want something more difficult look no further than
http://www.nparks.gov.sg/cms/index.php? ... &Itemid=73

But i do not know how it might affect your photography plans. Plus, that place is not near to any food chomps nor attractions afterward.

Henderson is more central.

Are we doing just the Henderson Waves? I wonder can i clock 1 minute for the entire distance..

I dread the day when the improvised Steve-R comes back. He will probably carry a dozen more shuriken in his pocket.

ok, monkey god, i mean, resource consumer, you clock 1 minute 60 times while we the unfit ones trudge our way at leisure :D

i vote for henderson, but will follow the majority ^_^

to make it more difficult/longer walk.. there's a trail from harbourfront mrt, to handerson wave.. it's actually pretty nice view for walk..

you can check it out here..

I happened to stay somewhere near by along the southern ridges.. :)
