Alrighty guys, we have more than two weeks to decide between friday and saturday. I'll go for friday one, but like lilynova, I dont mind following the majority favorite either.

QUESTION is, what aboot this Friday?

Beers from 7-11, snacks and some mosquito coils @ Pearl Hill's Park (which is below my apartment btw). Hahaha. Or restaurant as suggested?

(At least with beers from 7-11 I'm guaranteed to get Asahi Dry, the brand of piss my lame east asian constitution tolerates best.)

Lilynova - by "we" I meant "Nakatago", he pretty much scared me away when he asked if I wanted to play "swords".

So is the "Ghetto Friday Drinking Club" starting up? Instead of checking out different pubs we check out different 7-11s and parks?

All I need is a 40 of Olde E and a park bench and I'm there.

And this will be me in the morning....

Isn't that pathetic? If you go around during the daytime--especially in the West, you'll notice some men sitting on the grass, sipping canned beer through straws in the middle of the sweltering heat of the tropical sun.

Anyway, we could still go on this Friday; induct any newcomers or those that didn't show up last friday. Then maybe we could discuss what to do for Halloween.

To keep from confusing people on whether the dinner is happening or not we have decided to move forward with the plan.

So the dinner will be this Friday, Oct. 23rd at Straits Chinese Restaurant at 7:30pm near Bugis.

The list so far is:

We don't discriminate. Anyone can come - locals, expats, students, any age. The more people that show up the better.
