my husband and I have just moved to Singapore on our own accord. we are needing to ship our things from the US to here. Any advise on a company that we can use for a good price? how long does it take to freight belongings to Singapore from the States?

Many thanks.

Hi CRB,

We have used Crown, KC Dat and Santa Fe. That would be a good place to start. KC Dat tends to be pricey, but they are fantastic, at least from Singapore - US. They can 'crate' anything, no matter how strange the shape ~ it's kind of a shame to tear the crate apart at the other end. All 3 mentioned are top-notch.

If you are partially filling a 20ft or 40ft container, I'd search this forum for some advice on how to fill any empty space. Singapore is deceptively western, but there are lots items I think you'll be thankful you packed with a little prior planning.

Hope this helps.
