anyone heard of cavalry school of management & design

Post by moonunit » Wed, 08 Jul 2009 6:29 am

I am trying to live in Singapore with my partner without having to marry him right away (it's something we planned but don't want to jump into it right away). I'm hesitant to play the in / out game in regards to the social 90 day visa and we can't get the common law thing as we're a long distance relationship. When I visit him for three + months it's on a visa pass so there is no proof we really "share" an address. Recently he just got a position and will move soon. I was supposed to live with him in his country but now that he's moving, i guess I'm heading to Singapore.

In lieu of getting the partner visa and also trying to go in and out of the country on a tourist visa, I've been looking at the student visa as another option and have found a relatively inexpensive program with courses I am interested in. Has anyone heard anything about this school? I've looked and have not found any information. Do you think this is a good plan??

Thanks for your help.

If the school is here you should be okay if not. Well, it would be good to get married or see if you two have enough trust in each other to live apart for a while until you decided to quit shacking up. :o

Ah lol I wish we were shacking up! He's in Europe I'm in the States.... immigration's a little tough. We've been living apart for about a year. Just with long extended visits to each other's perspective countries. I was about to move there until this job came along so I'm willing to move to Singapore instead given my sense of adventure. Though you know, I wouldn't mind getting married to (ahem) help with our little problem. Hmmmmm

Thanks for your advice
