I am looking for a maid who has ever worked in expat's homes. She must be honest, diligent, hygenic and love children. I have a son who is 4 and half years old in an
International School. We expect the maid is experienced to work in expat's home. We prefer to the one passed by expats with good comment.
We will be on holiday tomorrow. I will reply you in a month. thanks.

Wow, you sound like a right sweetheart . . . all the warmth of a day-old turd.
Poor maid.

I'm not sure but I hope a giant tractor beam pulls them back!

They are already here!

Using the royal 'We' and all. Maybe part of the Royal Monarchy deigning to try to be like the commoners?

Poll on where the OP is from?
I do appreciate the fact that she is inviting expressions of interest in answering her demand for knowledge . . . and will be so kind to answer in one month to see what the rabble have come up with.
Lovely.

Just saw this on another thread . . . note the similarities and the differences:
storeysj wrote:Hi
As we a expecting our first baby in December we are on the look out for good quality maid who has experience with new born babies.
I know we can go through an agency, and will do so, but having heard so many horror stories we would prefer to seek personal recommendations from an employer.
If you know of any such maids whose contract may be coming to an end through ex pat relocation etc we would very much appreciate to hear from you. As we are moving to a new
property in August we are looking to be able to offer employment in September.
Nationality is not important but a basic command of English is a necessity.
Thank you
Sounds like a nice lady.
Our OP here sounds . . . quite the opposite for which the term 'desiccated hag' might be applicable. But then it may not.
I wonder what she looks like . . .

Dear Faffy
I am an Indo_Aussie expat whose maid is available for transfer from 24th August 09 as we are returning to Australia. She is Filipino , very experienced , honest , trustworthy and most of all a good housekeeper. We do not treat her like a maid but she owns responsibility and is accountable. I have trained her well in international and Indian cooking and she is a quick learner. I have 2 boys and she is very good with their sports and activities. I would be very happy to see her go to employers who can value her since she is a smart woman. I am a businesswoman and her presence has ensured that I can focus on my work better. I pay her well as she gives me value for money and when I see my friends maid I think she is worth a tleast 3 !

Apparently you don't value her all that much......
Did you actually read the OP's opening post? Oh. Sorry. Forgot. English probably isn't your first language so you might have missed the humbleness that the OP wrote with so eloquently in her post.

My thoughts exactly . . . who would want their 'treasured' maid going to an ogre like the OP . . . there's a perfectly nice lady in another thread looking for a helper who seems to fit the bill much better.

Until you find one, use Duolingo. It will teach you the basics before you move on to the more advanced phrases.
