Home visit trouble shooting for Macs and PCs

Post by Helen Nicholls » Tue, 30 Jun 2009 11:44 am

Hi - we've been in Singapore for 3 months and have some teething problems with the way our Pc and Mac are (not) working. Driving us crazy. Does anyone know of an IT person who'll do home visit trouble shooting- probably only need about an hour to sort out issues, but would need to someone who knows MACs and PCs- would need to know hourly rate as well. We're in Balestier.

We got a name and number from our neighbour and used this guy. He came out and had to take the stand alone away. He called with a quote and a return date for delivering the PC back. All I can say was my husband is very happy.

Let me know if you need his details.

SMS.......is it ok if I do it in the thread or must I do it in a pm?

The guy I used is called Jag and his hp number is 91272738.
He was reliable, reasonable priced and knew what he was talking about.

We needed a new hard drive which i thought might be the case. I had not told him my thoughts and he called back and said was the case and gave me a quote before he went ahead and install it.

Next time you can try XXXXXX. I heard it's a new company offering PC repair at your home.

Especially as I am posting from the same IP address and have a similar email registration address. Now I am banned and my other account using my company will probably be banned as well if I don't change my signature quickly! - guess who!

I recommended the guy Jag as I had used him personally and so had my neighbour and Helen.
