The league here runs from September to May. Games play on every Sunday starting at 10 until 3. There are about 8 teams in the league so each team plays a double header each Sunday with one Sunday off per month. It's a great time, with lots of good people.

The games are played in Sembawang at the Terror Club field. It is on Deptford Road just off of Admiralty Road East. We play on Sundays from 10-3. Season will start back up late next month.

Hi Liberty,

I've been looking around for people who play baseball, and this looks like a good alternative! Being a Brit, cricket is more my style, but I'm sure that I can adapt!

Mens Slow Pitch Softball back on!

Post by liberty » Mon, 04 Jan 2010 4:04 pm

Second half of the season is about to start. Our team is looking for some good dedicated softballers that like to win and have a good time doing it. No matter how much beer we drink! :)

We play Sunday mornings/afternoons in Sembawang.

If your good, contact me and we will find a spot for you.

Thanks

It's competitve enough. Each team is out there to win. The majority of the players have been playing the in league here for years, some of them travel to international tournaments throughout Asia to compete. Sometimes we even host an international tournament here in Singapore.

My team personally are looking for high impact players. We have about 20 guys on the roster now and I would say about 5-6 of them are regular high impact players, the rest kind of fill in the holes when they show up.

The league runs thru the end of May, so if you show up in March, yes you can still play.

There is a small league fee (S$50) that you have to pay to be on the roster. The money goes to the American Association. However sometimes we find companies willing to sponsor us that cover the cost for the players.
