Yes it came as a shock, and a reminder to me, that it can happen any minute! So i do try to avoid stress and just enjoy myself, I would say over 45 then maybe it's time to have a CT scan of the arteries, because it as nothing to do with how healthy or fit a person is.

If the arteries are narrowed much, the chance of a full blockage is very likely...My ex wife died 11 times on her return home from Spain at the airport, and still they managed to give her a triple bypass. She was 53 and now she feels much better than me. High stress cause damage and heart disease too and the biggest problem is the arteries have the tendency to close further when emotionally upset, causing a narrow path to close fully, hence a heart attack. It doesn't have to be a blockage from plaque.

MJ did not die of a heart attack, he died of cardiac arrest. Big difference.

So they have completed the autopsy? Yahoo said cardiac arrest, but then say its not known what he died from, either way. If people don't have a thorough heart checked, one will never know!

Okay a cardiac arrest is when the chamber fails to pump out the blood under sys. Heart failure could easy have been picked up earlier, with a scan and possibly an ECG, which failed to pick up my blockages. The CT scan being more accurate but the cardiac surgeon did explain to me, that people over the age of 40, almost surely start to have a build up in their arteries, no matter how fit one is.

This guy was a super fit person all his life and had his heart attack in 2003

http://everything2.com/?node_id=1686837 just an example that health and fitness doesn't stop the heart attack or heart failure. Only check ups may help, the problem being it maybe hereditary! One thing for sure is that he didn't suffer long.

why is everyone going nuts over his death?
Maybe it's just me but he doesn't deserve hours and hours of TV coverage.

Death is sad but it comes to us all so what's the big deal? People getting shot in Iran and other places in the world who are younger than him!
Don't p*ss me off! I am running out of places to hide the bodies.

WOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when did she hang up her wings

MJ was a waste of space i'm afraid...spent a decade creating the monster then 3 decades bleating about it.
If you look at him with the J 5 then what he did to himself it's just sad.

She died Yesterday. Her cancer has been pretty well documented recently. She was going to finally marry what's his name but I guess that won't happen now. Scary as she was only a couple of months older than me! :o

MJ? Just used up somebody else's oxygen I reckon. Never did like him even when he was normal (well as normal as a 4 year old could be in that family!)

Crap!

I had sold on my two tickets for £900 when I bought them at £150. That is £750 in profit gone. Sigh.
