Dyslexia friendly schools

Post by g15ele » Tue, 23 Jun 2009 3:51 am

Hello
We are about to move to Singapore and are looking for an independent school for my 11 and 9 year old boys. My biggest concern are that both will need support as they are dyslexic. I am trying to find a school that will meet their needs within the class, not as a separate unit. They are both bright boys, the oldest being excectionally bright verbally. They simply need some support to help cope with their dyslexia.

Does anyone know of any schools which offer support for Dyslexia within the classroom?

Thanks
Gisele

You can check out this website.

I am not a parent with dyslexic children but a client of mine teachs there and they do a very good job. They are sent overseas to train teachers with regards to teaching dyslexic children etc.
