East Coast and Tanglin - Advice Please

Post by alihau » Sat, 20 Jun 2009 1:45 am

Hi my daughter will be starting Tanglin school when we move to Singapore in a couple of months time. We are currently looking for a condo and was wondering if the East Coast a realistic possability. Does anyone know how long it will take on the school bus from say Costa Rue or Pebble Beach. What sort of time would she have to get the bus?
Alternatively if I drove her to school how long would the journey take then.

Also how easy is it for kids to meet up socially if you live out on the East Coast. Do kids who live out that way tend to socialise there as well or is it quite easy for them to travel into town to meet up.

I would appreciate any comments from people who live out that way and do have children at Tanglin.

Many thanks

Hi, We are in a similar situation and have been told that the East coast is too far out for Tanglin Trust school. Sorry, not sure how long the drive takes, we don't move until next week. We are house hunting in the D10 / D21 areas which will take anything from 10mins to 20mins drive to school. You should call the transport office on: 6776-7371 or email them: [email protected] / [email protected]

Good luck!
