Worried about swine flue

Post by cmorgan » Fri, 19 Jun 2009 8:55 pm

Has anyone got some hints on how to boost a child's immune system? I’m getting a little nervous about the whole swine flue thing. Every little sniffle sets off an alarm bell in my head.

Hi
I am currently living in Melbourne which you may have heard has a high incident of Swine flu, I have 2 small boys so was worried myself about them getting it, however as the flu has spread and yes I know several people who have had it, it hasnt proven to be anything worse than the usually flu and in fact in most cases not even that bad! So my advice would be to make sure you wash your hands and make sure you dispose of all tissues, I have also boosted there vitamin c levels but mostly I haven't changed anything as it maybe better for them to get the bug before it gets any worse so they build up a resistance.

Just keep washing you and your childs hands and minimise touching of objects. You should be fine! :)
