Maybelline Eyeshadow perfect for oily eyelids

Post by biancazen » Fri, 19 Jun 2009 10:21 am

I want to share this piece of great news for all females who have problems with their oily eyelids. My eyeshadow used to smudge into thick lines on my eyelids for they are rather oily. But eversince I have been using Maybelline Stick Eyeshadow, I do not have to worry no more. So ladies who are not confident to apply eyeshadow, try stick eyeshadows! Good luck!

How does one get oily eyelids? You must have slathered on too much eye cream then.

How Bizarre

using toner on your eyelids instead of eyecreams, followed by an eyeshadow primer or foundation base and a dusting of loose powder on your lids will stop eyeshadow from creasing in this heat. highly pigmented powder eyeshadow rather than cream shadow will help if your face is really oily.

Biancazen,

Thanks for sharing. I've had this problem for quite a while, and it just looks awful. Have tried dabbing powder, coating primer etc etc but everything in vain. I think i'll give this a try.... (fingers cross)

Thank you.... :P

M.A.C has a gel-based eyeliner that comes with an applicator brush which works really well for me. Almost smudge-proof after it dries on your eyelids. Lasts all day as well, especially on the lower lids.

It comes in a packing of brown and black eyeliner. Don't know if its available in sg or not, but i couldn't find it in the shops here in riyadh, had always bought mine on the plane.

Alternatively, a friend swears by mixing liquid and pencil eye-liner with pressed powder. I hate powder on my face, so can't comment on that method. ;)

Good luck!
