langkawi & bali

Hii all ,need some info about this 2 places. For Langkawi, i am looking for a place close to the beach side where my kids can enjoy themselves..i have googled about Datai ,Andaman & Tanjong Rhu but still confused.

As for Bali,I am all lost, can anyone suggest a place where there is this some great shopping to do ?I dont want the place where the bomb blast happened.

Bali's black/gray volcanic sand beaches aren't as good as Langkawi's pure white, but in every other respect I find Bali much more interesting.

Place to shopping in Bali? Malls or Market? Not many malls in Bali :p
Along Kuta, Legian(bali bombing area) & Seminyak street have all various interesting shops to see.. But for much cheaper price for art & handicrafts, can try to go Pasar Sukawati & Pasar Ubud ..
