Need Advice On My Situation

Post by jp2u » Mon, 15 Jun 2009 9:02 pm

Hi friends,

I am a graphic designer from chennai. I am planing to get a PR and move into SIngapore and settle. I would like to know how much an average Graphic designer earns in Singapore and will it be ok to support a couple.

I am planning to get a PR next year only as the current economic condition is not good.

And how much INR should i bring in to support myself till i get a job

My ultimate goal is to settle in Singapore, so please help me. :o

Thank you

What makes you think you can just come here and get a PR?

Why don't you type 'PR' into the search feature on this website and read some of the hundreds, if not thousands, of posts about getting PR?

Unless you have the proper credentials and the money for applying for Landed PR you had better find a job first as you cannot get PR without having a sponsor, either an employer or family ties.

Even with Landed PR, you only have one years from landing here to find a job. Good luck as there are plenty of locals with your skillset who will work for under 2K/month. They can make it because most of them are living at home with their parents.

Oh, if you think you already know it all, why are you here?

jp2u,

have a read of these two sentences.

"am not planning to come there and get a PR. I am planning to get a PR and then come.:

SE already asked you how you planned to get PR.

You responded to him with the flippant remark above which shows you have your head up a dark place that the sun never shines.

Had you just explained HOW you planned to get PR first, you might have been received a little better. I expounded on that as it was NOT a proper response, to a legitimate question, from a newbie. Now the newbie is indignant because someone answered him just a flippantly. Wanna try again?

Are you that flippant with customers you design for? :-|
