hi there,

try this shop ar haji lane, its near arab street. the name fails me at this moment, but its this big, smelly shop owned by a malay lady. lots of old pieces which could be promising if altered right. waistcoats go for 10-15 bucks, dresses for 20-30, etc. dont get roped in by the classy and eclectic bordering on pretentious exterior of the neighbouring shops. they are insanely overpriced.

No shit.

So many in London, NYC, Barcelona, Melbourne, etc...

How about saying something relevant instead of just arbitrary thoughts?

This is a good thread, unfortunately I don't know any... Would be nice if more people knew and shared.

yeah it would definitely better if someone could be relevant and contribute appropriately.

and yes the 50s and 60s style is so amazing and there;s so much more to appreciate. i tried ebay and sites like etsy, they sell home-made vintage.

eBay is awesome and I really like etsy too ^^ Too bad eBay is a little pricey.
