Question on "View posts since last visit"

Hi SMS,

I don't know how to bring this to the appropriate persons attention. I like to browse through the forums using the "view posts since last visit" list, but recently it takes my "last visit" as recently as opening a post to read / reply to it, which means that I can never get to page 2 as when I click on that link there are "no posts since last visit"!
Could you please let me know who I should report this to / how to get this resolved.

Click on "View posts since last visit" again, then go to page 2. Ta-dah

What's happening is this -- when you click on "View posts since last visit", it generates a page of search results just for you. However, that page is only kept in memory for a certain time, so if you're too slow to plow through the first page, the 2nd page disappears before you get to it. But the software still remembers your last visit, so just click again, and it will regenerate (almost) the same page.

Thanks jpatokal. Unfortunately I get a "no topic or posts" message when I click on "view posts since last visit" again and it doesn't regenerate.

The simple answer would be to have a list of all posts sorted by date.

Am I the only person that is experiencing this?

That's weird. All I can suggest then is opening page 2 as well immediately, in a separate tab/window.
