Not a stupid question at all. For the Wii, yes it will be fully compatible here in terms of plugging it in and playing your games on it but you will not be able to buy local Wii games here in Singapore and play them on the Wii. You will have to buy games in Europe in order to play them on a European Wii (the games/consoles are region locked).
The PS3 is different and is not region locked for games so it will not be a problem.
You can always order Wii games online and have them shipped to Singapore though.
I second EC.
My advice for Wii is to buy Zelda in your home country before coming here. Then check google a little bit, you'll find out that there's trick with this game that will let you remove the region lock, an buy local games.
BTW, PS3 can get anything from 110V to 220V even if it's explicitly said on the box it only works on one of them: just a cheap trick from Sony.
Katy,
I wouldnt think so but again, its all new to me. I know that when we were in the States we couldnt play our UK version Playstation. Someone will surely give you the answer.
