with all the hype abt double the speed and good camera...
:D 8-) 8-)

for me, the camera just improves alittle but compared to others, they still lags behind big time... but then, apple is still apple... a big icon! :)

if you already have one, there's no point to get the new one IMO.

Why do you say it's behind? I really dont see how... Just the 2 words "Apps Store" are a huge pro for the phone that no other phone on the market can beat.
Besides i think they increased the battery life on the 3GS.

20 years of hype and BS hasn't got thier OS anywhere really . So why on earth do you think the phones would be any better.

If you'd just stop being lazy and look at Linux you'd be so much happier and it's all ....no really all....FOC 8-)

I bought an iPhone last year and absolutely love it. Up until that point I was a total phone philanderer, constantly checking for latest phone. (I used to love Nokia.) After getting my iPhone, I haven't checked out another phone since.

I use a Mac all the time for work purposes and LOVE the OS. Anybody who sneers at it is either a total geek or has no idea what they are talking about. The whole point of the Mac OS is to eliminate (or at least minimise) the idea that you are using a computer. If you are into IT, by all means get a Linux-based system or, God forbid, a PC. But if you just want to get to work with as little grief as possible, Mac is yer only man.

The iPhone's camera is surprisingly good for a 2MP job. iTunes is a sheer wonder. The iTunes Store is nothing short of a world of pleasure. The iPhone is so easy to use, it doesn't even come with an instruction manual!

For me the only serious minuses are A), you can't forward SMS's; B), The ring tones that come as standard are limited and too quiet and C), you can't convert your songs from iTunes into ring tones.

the camera of the 3G iphone was ok but not that good: impossible to do a decent macro... I hope they really improved it
If you look a little bit on the net you'll find cheap soft to create your own ringtone for the iphone, from any mp3.
