New Indian family - looking for opinions on condo options

Post by hg » Fri, 12 Jun 2009 10:21 am

Hello Folks,

Some of you might remember me from my earlier posts about NPS. Well, we finally landed here on 31st May. Kids are well set in NPS and are loving it so far. Finding a home has been more of a challenge - our agent is perhaps even more confused with our constantly changing specifications :-)

That said, we are however zeroing down between the following 3 options.

1) Costa Del Sol (great amenities, great sea view, close to EC Park but a bit small for our family)
2) Sanctuary Green on Tanjhog Rhu road (Good amenities, partial sea view, Large terrace in a condo !!......but again a bit small)
3) Hawaii Tower on Meyer Road (Very Old Condo but HUGE, good sea view, good balcony, not so great amenities)

My office will be very far from any of these locations so I am resigned to driving anyway.

Any one here has any opinion on these places???

Cheers

If you are an expat Indian - there's no better place than Melville Park condo at Simei Street 1 - there's a huge expat Indian community there - perfect for couples with kids - check it out and the rentals are nose diving.
And it is condo living in every sense - the facilities are great. I live there.
Good luck !

Thanks for your reply. I have heard good things about Melville park but its a bit too far from my office. Not to mention that my wife is very keen on sea-view :???:

Check out Bedok Court. Its an older block but the condos are HUGE and the sea view is lovely. Lots of Indians, Europeans, Singaporeans and Chinese. Lots of friendly kids playing every evening. 4 mins walk to Tanah Merah station
