I thought of the bungee jump at Clarke Quay but the scenery is all wrong.

BTW - Great photos, SMS. I had never seen Singapore until 2002 and it is great to look back. Possibly you and LoriW could create a photo book. Keep 'em coming.

Well you will certainly be a sight on Singapore roads, don't think any of the locals have seen a real Penny Farthing.

I was going to say the same thing! The last (and only) time I took the ride, I noticed a lovely collection of slippers and shoes littering the ground just fatre the embarkation point!

Would that be the Capitol Building at the intersection of Stamford and New Bridge Road, southwest corner?

Well, the purpose of this thread has now be blown to smithereens!
Pity that :( I thought it would be quite fun.

I was looking forward to scanning in some really old pics and posting them! I KNOW that my father has some really interesting pics - being an old Rafflesian from the 1930s - 40s and a RI scoutmaster after the war, then being an architectural draftsman working for the SIT when it was first set up. (btw, that's how I happened to be born in England - when dear daddy came here to finish his architecture degree!)

Can I post one anyway? I expect SMS knows where this is but does anyone else??
