I had a breast reduction and lift done 3 years ago. My initial response was wow great because the load was lifted from my neck and back, and all the other reasons I chose to have surgery.
However, I looking at my breast now, and all I can think of are 'franken' boobs.
I have little puppy dog ears on either outside of my breast (which I never had before). I also had, what I am finding out now, is I have nipple necrosis. I basically watch my nipple weeks after surgery wash down the drain, which some is normal I guess but they are freakish now. No ' pertruding nipple, and the nipples I do have are so very highly placed that most bras do NOT cover it. Gotta watch the bathing suits as well.
I am currently writing a letter to my surgeon, to see what can be done, if anything. I am also trying to research who else out there has experienced so of the same sort of problems.

I to had a breast reduction only 7mths ago your cirrcumstances are unfortunate, however my outcome was much worse. While under anesthetic the skin on my breasts was pulled to tight and i came out of surgery with a hematoma under my left nipple. I then lost that left nipple and got a serious infection called pseudamonas which caused me to have most of my breasts removed and 6 weeks straight in hospital and almost dye. I now have to go through extensive surgery to reconstruct both breast and i will be left with extreme scaring.
