Been 5 months for me and still waiting. A friend has been waiting for 8 months. I guess the 3 months processing time is a thing of the past.
By the way could you share a bit about the interview? And are you working as well or only your spouse?

I guess I'm lucky. I got the approval letter almost 3 months after I applied.

I think the interesting question would be:
a. did you apply as a spouse of a citizen or through the technical and skilled worker scheme and
b. if you applied through the technical/skilled worker scheme was it a joint application with a spouse.
Anybody here who applied as a spouse of Singaporean recently? Could you give any feedback on how long it took you to get a reply. Been waiting just short of three months now.

Neither of us Malaysian, both MBAs (Mrs Hat working on PhD) and we had our PR in a matter of weeks . . . that was a few years ago, mind you . . . ironically we left Singapore three months after
Maybe also because we don't use LOL or lol when writing. One never knows what foibles these Immigration people have.

Hey guys,
In answer to xtasy and littlegreenmans questions:-
Im not working at present but i hav been working before moving here and do plan on working again. Maybe as soon as we get our PR (hopefully). My husband is the only one working currently.
The interview questions were general Q's related to us directly. Thr is nothing you need to prepare for. Dont worry. Just be yrself! I think all they want is honesty!
For all those waiting for 3 months or more, its because they have quite an influx of applications. The best thing would be to maybe email them and ask how far along yr process is. Thr is really nothing else u can do except worry like i did hee hee.
Like i said, they did tell us tht it would be another couple of months before they come to a final decision so more worrying and praying for me lol!
I hope some of my ramblings will answer yr queries.

You might get turned down if reading comprehension is taken into account. Did you read this thread? The OP indicated in the first post that it had been over 9 months for them. 6 months is quite normal. And you're complaining after only 3 months?
I've been a guest on this forum for the past few months and finally registered today to say this to SMS.
SMS, you really cracked me up! Everytime.

I enjoyed reading all your posts ~ besides some helpful advice, they are very funny. They are becoming my "sunday morning staples". Cheers!

Wow. 13 months. At least now, I have a benchmark for waiting for my PR application status. This is only month 4!
Hey, there's this other guy on another thread who's nervously waiting for his PR application status...

Yes I know I just read his thread and posted a reply. I can understand the anxiety but they told told us in our interview tht thr has been quite an influx of applications in the past couple of years which is why the process time may take more then the 3 months stated on the website.
Just hang in there and hopefully things will work out in yr favour
Good luck to all of you.... lah

Congratulations!
Thanks for keeping us up to date. I think it is good we have a benchmark now for other people to refer to. Patience pays off.

Please can someone help me with good ideas and admonishments. I currently applied for my PR under my wife's sponsorship. And my wife is a PR for 5years plus now and she's from shanghai,china..She's currently working with Ministry of eduacation as a teacher and she's a degree holder, while myself is a fresh MBA holder from one the private universities here in singapore.
