moving to singapore

Post by birdcage » Thu, 04 Jun 2009 12:57 pm

Hi All,
We are moving to Singapore early next year from Melbourne and I would love any information on schools for my 8yr old son as well as what areas are nice to live in. Thanks.

do a search on this forum as this been asked many times. top of your list is not school but where you going to be working and living. what you dont want is live east and work/school west or vice versa.

Hi Birdcage - as Durain says, this question has been done to death. There is a search function within the forum - the orange button SEARCH isn't always easy to see, but it's on the right hand side.

I'd suggest you use that for "school" and even "international school".

FWIW (For What It's Worth) we've just had one of our staff pull their kidlette out of the Australian International School (seeing you are from Aus) - apparently there were issues with "integration". I'm not entirely across what those issues are as it's obviously a private matter between the staff and their family.

Thanks for your help. My spouse will be working at Temasek Tower. So i suppose we will have to look at areas near work. And schools as well.
Thanks.
