Post by skipstocks » Sun, 10 Oct 2004 4:12 am

Greetings all -
I am moving to Singapore shortly - trying to find out if the meds I take Stateside will require a prescription in country. Can you advise who I can ask?

Most medicenes require a prescription in Singapore.

You can't even buy nuerofen unless you go to a chemist.

If you want to save on prescriptions and docttor fees buy your meds over the counter in countrys like Indo, Thailand, Malaysis, Philippines etc.

But make sure you know what you are doing first

In my (admittedly limited) experience, getting prescriptions here isn't really a problem. Just bring along the ones for the US and head for a doctor here, I'm sure they can sort it out.
