Don't normally do this but saw the new Star Trek movie yesterday and really really enjoyed it and wished there was a sequel coming out tomorrow (well actually after the credits of the Star Trek movie). It was that good IMHO. Do yourself a favur go and take a look.

I've heard mixed reviews from some hardcore Trekkies, but I agree it's one of the best Star Trek movies so far.
The movie was more like the original TV series than some of the CGI laden films between the TV series and this film.

well i saw it 2 weeks ago, and though it wasn't that good...
So many cliches, it was almost funny. Size of the starship change according if you look outside or inside and loopholes in the plot...
Very cool visual effects though

Never been super into it but I feel like it used to be a much grander event, with way more tuning in. This time, it seemed to blow over so quickly,...

They should have pulled a Will Smith type of stunt!
That’s one way to breathe some life into the show, would’ve gotten views for sure!

Does one need to undergo covid screening or checks before going to the cinema?

No, that part is different - the only advertising (if you can call it that) is at most 2-3 coming attractions, i.e. new movies that will be released...

LOL is this for real? And they wonder why we don't take the local art scene seriously.
