im not sure on the age limit. but i had flown wif new crews (within 1 mth of flying) n the lady aged 34 n there is oso a guy at 35.

I believe it could be the experience or how u present urself to the recruitment. Age is numbers and its the inner personality because you need to be adaptable and understanding to things here. And no pretence please, or it will be harder when you are here later.

I wish you all the best...

[quote="Baby0106"]Hi Fakel

Your height is okay. As long as when u need to pass the reach test of 212cm (to get hold of the Safety Equipment) n basically to close the overheads when you start flying and arrange the bags to maximise the space.

And anyway, when during the reach test, you will be asked to touch the end of 212cm on your shoes, so dont worry, just be stable when you reach out hehe...

Hi baby0106,
For the reach test, what exactly will you be reaching? Is it a measurement pole or mock overhead compartment? You see i am only 157 cm. I took my own measurements while tip toeing and i dont think i can reach the 212 cm. I can only make it to about 207cm. Are they strict with this? There is an OD next week in KL, should i even give it a try?

Thanks in advance gals

Common sense should tell you the answer; they state cleary a minimum arm reach of 212cm. You can only reach 207 which means you will not be able to reach the overhead lockers properly. You don't need anybody to tell you do you the answer to what you asked do you?

Hi Sweetie,

- the reach test is just an indication either a stroke or top of a picture which is measured at 212cm

- fyi, in aircrafts, when the top compartments are opened fully, when it is time for u to close them before take off...it is in that height. Seriously. Even at times, i need to balance myself so that i can close it nicely n without struggling.

- my advise is when u reach, DO NOT LOOK at the point where u should be tipping. PLEASE just breath in & stretch yourself. Inshallah, u make wonders.

Go and try, you will never know. And all the best to you Sweetie~!

- you can try reading the earlier posts which advise how the first day is

Anyways,
- CV submission is only a 1 day affair
- the continuous interviews depends on whether the CV u submitted or your persona itself on the short few minutes while handing in the CV attracts the Recruitment Officer or the idea of you in the future being our Cabin Crew

And, please

- it is starting at 0900, get the better seats so that you can be easily spotted by then (inshallah)
- im sure in any interview, you dont want to keep the employer waiting right?

Hope these answers your queires...all the best..!!!!

Qatar Cabin Crew Recruitment

Post by Tessa.m » Sun, 11 Oct 2009 5:40 pm

Hello there,

I'm new to this forum here.

I'd like if anyone could furnish me with details on the Qatar Cabin Crew Recruitment interview processes.

Although the airline is currently not having any recruitment exercise, I'm interested to understand and also be prepared when they are here.

During the interview processes, do they check for your posture, skin and arms? Like for SQ?

And how about the medical process after one is selected? What are the tests that they generally do?

In addition, if one if selected and be employed, how long is the time frame before one is arranged to be based in Doha before the training starts? And the duration of the training?

Also the rostering and off days of a QR crew?

I reall do appreciate if anyone could feedback to me on these questions.

Thank you for your time.

Cheers!
