What the meanging of 'Art'?

I must finish one report on this semester is about writing an article about art,
It is really difficult for me to describe or explain the meaning of 'Art'..

I try to find on dictionary but not really helpfull.

Anyone there can describe the meaning of 'Art'?

And anyone can inform me the place where to sell art item in Singapore cause i new here.
