find a friend in a large corporation..
the bigger courier services have massive massive discounts for corporate stuff.. (against promised volume i guess).

I sent a parcel to Dubia and it took 12 hours to get there and it was about $60.00. I had called DHL/Fedex etc and was quoted $175.00 and 4 day delivery.
So me personally after using the Royal Mail or whatever they call themselves. Singpost is the best.

I'm also very happy with Singpost/Speedpost - had to send a couple of urgent documents back to the UK, and they arrived well within the quoted times, and a whole lot cheaper than equivalent mainstream courier service. They were only documents though, so I can't comment on whether there are better options for parcels.

Check Singpost's website, they offer a whole range of different rates. Shipping by sea (2nd class) is positively cheap, but of course it takes forever...
