Post by rajeshdba9 » Thu, 14 May 2009 1:21 am

I'm a New member from India.Congrats on your good work
I'm going to travel and very new to Singapore.I need all your support and suggestion

I have few questions and sorry for bothering u all :

1)My Relative is PR holder in Singapore,he can apply for my tourist visa in Singapore and send it to India? Is it OK?

2)How many days for the processing of tourist visa at Singapore?

3)Will the date be counted from the date of issue of visa or the port of entry at Singapore airport for tourist visa?

4)How the return flight ticket needs to be booked? If im planning to travel on 31st May by Singapore airlines and they don't have option for Changing the dates. So my return ticket should be exactly 30 days(ie 30th June)??

It can be 45 days also becoz there might be extension for another one month in tourist visa rite??

Please do not post the same message multiple times.

1) Yes, electronically online. See

2) 1 working day.

3) Visa and visit pass are separate. Visa validity starts when approved, but your social visit pass starts when you arrive in Singapore.

4) I don't think the exact date matters, you just need to have the ticket back.
