Hello,

Don't know if this is the right board but I need to get a company web-site done. Nothing too fancy, just wondered if anyone could help me with approximate costings on this? I have no idea.

Also if anyone could recommend anyone good?

Thanks

A lot depends on what you exactly want of course but a basic web site with hosting and a couple of attached email address is about 1000 to 1500 S$. I've used a small local based company twice in the past and they've been fine.

I use Netsarius (http://www.netsarius.com/). I have been very satisfied with the service, the price, and the uptime.

Not affiliated, blah, blah, woof, woof.

I went to Netsarious website but when I did a online chat with me, they mentioned that they will sell you the tools to do up your website. I need someone who can make the website for me also.

Aside from the guys i mentioned earlier there are plenty of companies that can do this.
I find the best way to go about this is to search the web for a web site you like the look of then use this as an example for them to quote against.

If you're brave enough to design your own but dont want to spend hours writing HTML code then yu might try out some WYSIWYG ( what you see is what you get) editors ( google for them ....free or free trials)
With a little bit of effort ( learning the basic principles) you will have ultimate freedom of your website and the ability to update it whenever you want without paying service fee's

Good luck

Hi SingRed, I did my company website with Webwise Workz Pte Ltd.. It cost me S$800, inclusive of 1 year web hosting, domain registration and unlimited webmail accounts. It's a really good deal and the person-in-charge, Yvonne, is easy to work with. All the best!
