Long term Visa-Need to show money to enter to singapore?

Hi All,
I am an EPEC holder and im in Long term visa which is valid for 1 year. I have to return to my home country for a short period. When i return, do I have to show money at the immigration check point singapore?(My home country is having on arrival visa)
