Kota Kinabalu is nice...
I just came back from there too..
Was on a 5D4N trip from 29 April till 03 May.
Stayed in Pendant Hut on Mt KK...

Some advise and preparation:
1) Due to now is consider rainning season, hence do bring lots of clothes. Yes. I mean LOTS !! The degree is like 7-10 outside the hut, and -5 to 0 at near the summit... =)

2) Do tons of climbing stairs/mountain training. If this the 1st time you going, just imagine the steps of the mountain is about 3 steps wide for normal flats... and if no steps, is very steep, and rocky...

3) Hot Spring open from 10am-6pm daily. However, as long as you enter the area before 6pm, you can stay till about 7-8pm... And be reminded that there's alot of people there... =)

Last but not least... Enjoy...
