Post by ffsgrelier » Tue, 05 May 2009 8:21 pm

hi
I am trying to buy a sandpit or sandbox with a lid to put on our terrace for my little girl but cannot seem to find where to buy one in Singapore. Any thoughts ?
Thanks.

You can rent the little tikes ones from the toy rental club (tho I'm not sure where to get the proper sand): http://www.toyrentalclub.com/sandwater.html

You can also buy this one from ELC:

But it has a plastic rain cover and not really a lid - so if your terrace is exposed to "creatures" - they may use it as a litterbox :o

I just bought a 3 dollar bag of sand (quite a big, like a half a big bag of rice) from a nursery (up in sembawang tho). Laid out an old shower curtain and store the sand in a 5 dollar bin from IKEA. I don't leave it out as i worry my dogs may pee on it. They would on the plastic cute little tykes container... :(
