aussielass, I was the same! First month I piled on the pounds due to all the food I was eating and inactivity (back in England I used to walk a lot). Once I got used to the food and adjusted my diet, I started losing the weight. I've also joined a gym now and that's helping too. Good luck!

thanks! i think i will have to! but gyms are so expensive here. well not the community ones, but the ones that i am used to. fitness first etc. i have taken to walking my apartment stairs but i think i have to do alot more!

so what do you do if your metabolism slowed down. I got sick years ago..very sick and i had a surgery..i think it slowed down my metabolism.
