Pledge yr wish for the environment tmr on Earth Day!!!!

Postby go green » Tue, 21 Apr 2009 10:06 pm

I found this really cool at the National Geographic Store Singapore at VivoCity, you can make a wish for the Earth on a pledge card and put it up at the store this Earth Day, Apr 22!! Made an appeal to save the big blue whales, which are magnificent creatures but are at great risk of becoming extinct soon. Who knows, if the pledge we make is good, maybe National Geographic Society will fund some conservation programme to save the whale! At least that's my dream ....

Calling out to all environment lovers, please go to the store and do your part, shout out your wish for the environment!! :)

They could save a few trees. I remember when I had membership, they sent me so much advertising material I must have had half the Amazon rain forest through my letter-box. :o

to go all the way to vivocity to sign up, i will have to increase my carbon footprint. my range rover is not exactly light on carbon emission. the pledge card could be recycle paper, but still it need a lot of fossil fuel to recycle it!

The glossy paper is never re-cycled as far as I know.

Recycled paper also got damage environment. Better electronic.

Sounds like marketing platform packaged under green guise. Many around these day.
