1. Buy a detox kit from any pharmacy.
2. No meat, no alcohol, no refined white bread, no refined sugar, no eggs, no milk, no oil; lots of fruits & veges, take brown rice, wholemeal bread
3. Just eat fruit all day
4. Follow the Victoria Beckham diet - blueberries, strawberries. Do a Google on that.
5. Just Google.

If you look up and do a little research you will find that one does not have to "detox" at all. Just eat properly, and drink lots of water and finished. The rest is pure BS.

^^ VB method was made tongue-in-cheek  ... No sane person (other than VB herself) would subject herself to such torture.

Thread-starter is keen on a detox, so it's up to her to read the tips and make her own decision...but honestly the best research is done through Google, unless the thread-starter comes across some dubious methods that she wants some clarification for.

seribayu, any luck with your detox so far?

The latest on detox

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/ ... detox.html

I tend to agree there is a load of crap on the market! Although nothing is better than a natural organic drink.

There are specific dangers involved with detox, and weight loss one woman died in the uk and others brain damaged, when she was told to drink 8 pints of water a day, to flush her body out. Her brain became water logged and she died, i was looking for the link, when i found the one above.

Okay found the link and it was 6 pints of water not 8.

It certainly appears that a few experts do not understand how the human body ticks at all, surely the failings must be within the nutrition syllabus, or these people just don't have the common sense to realise the dangers of swamping the body with water.

Well i guess a balanced diet may not be the sole solution. I am taking some supplements which are very good. The results are fantastic and scientific research as been done on the supplements that I am taking. These research with evidence are approved by the recognised institutions.
