Opportunities for a self employed web professional

Post by zonez » Sun, 19 Apr 2009 6:10 pm

Hello,

I'm an internet professional with over 8 years of experience. My personal strength is related to development and online marketing, though by empowering various partnerships I'm able to produce and manage all aspects of internet related projects.

For various reasons I'm looking to relocate to Singapore. I want to service my current clients from there and seek new business opportunities alongside (in the form of producing website/web applications and/or providing freelance services to local internet companies).

I have a couple of questions;

- How's the internet market in SG at the moment? Is it hard to find skilled web developers for example? (I know about the general IT market, but note I'm mostly internet orientated)

- What would it take for me to get a work permit and become self employed in SG?

- Anyone able to provide me with some hookups? :)

Thanks!

Start with this thread:

Then do a search for ukdesigner and read his story. Then come back with questions. :wink:
