Original in-principle approval letter required for entry?

Post by Melom » Thu, 16 Apr 2009 1:02 pm

I am relocating to Singapore with my wife. We have got the in-pinciple approval letters for my EP and her DP. My company in Singapore sent copies of the in-principle approval letters to me. Seems to me the approval letters were online printed, not originals. Does anybody know whether the immigration at the Changi Airport accept copies? We don't want to get deported because we don't have originals.

Yes.
You can travel with the copies of the letter.
As a matter of fact most of them travel "only" with the copies(scanned/printed) copies of the letter.

Cheers.
