Wow! I never thought someone will market a product to make sure we can enjoy nice bananas (not squashed or bruised) at work or in school. :)

hmm, hearsay sounds a bit defensive to me; can't imagine someone being here for so long without seeing an actual Asian banana! :)

well, they do call this product the "banana hammock," but it surely is not designed so that the fruit can relax and sway with the wind ;)

Why would I be defensive? :wink:

I had three different varieties of Asian bananas growing in my back yard in Seletar Camp for years. But, as I haven't seen western bananas in quite a few years, due to being here for over a quarter of a century, I'm not sure what is in the western supermarkets there today. :P

Daiso has banana gaurds. I bought a pink and blue one a month or two ago at the Daiso store at IMM. Can't beat $2!

Hubby hasn't tried it yet--but my mother certainly LOVED taking hers to work in the US. Boy, she's never been so popular. :)

And it works perfectly--no more squished banana!
