ADULT SWIMMING CLASSES

Post by bak_kwa » Mon, 13 Apr 2009 1:03 pm

Friends !

For various reasons, I must say this sadly, I never could pick up Swimming when I was young :(

I yearn to be able to swim not only for leisure but for a good workout, as an alternative to my gym workout...so anyone out htere who can advise me a good swimming instructor here in Singapore

Thanks a ton in advance :)

Hi Bak_kwa,
Has the class started yet? I'd love to join... The pool at my plc is kinda shallow so I need to learn to get to deeper pool :oops:
thanks!

Did you guys take your swimming lessons already? can you recommend good instructors? I'm also very keen on learning how to swim. I don't even know how to float. :(

Have already mustered free style and frog style since i posted haha :P great instructor. Currently taking one on one lessons with him at $50 an hour. Was quite shy about joining group classes hence sought for instructor who provided one on one haha.....His training quite personalised and he gave me alot of notes to reference. Anyway if you guys are interested, you can contact him at [email protected] no obligations and just sharing (:

btw tried out tribob some time back. Way too ex as compared to 50 an hour and personalised training. 0.0 i won't recommend it

ps: anyone up for a swim?

@SandDeamon

I would like to take up classes too. Though i have picked up the basics of freestyle swimming, i think personalised coaching would do me good.

So are you game for group classes?? More importantly, where do you take your classes?

i am not game for group classes lol i am happy with the one on one attention i recieve cos i think i learn faster than an instructor's attention being diverted to like 4 or 5 pple. My instructor told me that he only does West and Central Areas so i am not sure. Btw i am having 2 hours per lesson at a private pool at my condo so yea..Maybe you should contact him via email or sth. I have his number but don't think i am entitled to release it -.-
