Best Place for Name-Brand Toiletries

Post by spidernyc » Sun, 12 Apr 2009 2:36 pm

Hi,

I need to stock up on name-brand toiletries (shampoo, soap, deodorant, etc.).

Which store offers the best prices? Carrefour? Or somewhere else that I don't know about.

Thanks!

NTUC No Frill Brand is the best.

What do you mean 'brand name'? Mustafa has quite a collection of well known brands in shampoos, deordorant, etc.

Brand Name, like in "Pantene", "Eucerin", "Colgate".

So I take it Mustafa is generally cheaper than Carrefour? Thanks for the info.

Pantene & Colgate can be found in just about any of the majors in Singapore including NTUC. Which will probably save you the travel cost of going to Mustapha's and the difference will be neglible.

I have found most "brand name" products in Giant and Cold Storage as well as Carrefour. Generally the prices are pretty much the same give or take the odd cent here and there.

I know people who rave about Mustafas but personally the sweat, stress and hassle of going there is just not worth it and I've found their prices are little or no different to the supermarkets.
